Who we are

My name is Dean Lewis and I am the Owner/Chef of ‘The Italian Job.’ After taking the plunge to establish my own Italian street food venture in Newport Market in 2023 I have developed an appealing and unique offering of modern Italian street food to suit everyone’s taste! Whether you are a meat lover, vegetarian or cheese lover, we have you covered.

I serve the best quality pasta with a choice of different toppings, including fresh prawns to homemade ragus!

Background

I have acquired over 15 years’ experience working at various Italian restaurants. I started at Jamie’s Italian, where I worked for over 6 years. I developed my passion for Italian food there and learned how to make pasta and delicious sauces from scratch.

Following on from my successful stall at Newport Market, I am excited to branch out and bring my unique Italian street food dishes to the people of Swansea.
