Who We Are

Mathew, the man behind Rock & Scallop, is a true seafood lover with a background in running popular pop-ups across South Wales. He knows seafood inside out — creating bold, flavoursome sauces completely from scratch and perfecting the famous seafood boil that Rock & Scallop has become known for. If you know Rock & Scallop, you’ll know it’s all about seafood feasts — from legendary boils and generous sharing platters to signature scallop dishes that always stand out. With 80% of the menu gluten-free, Rock & Scallop is all about big flavours, great food, and sharing good times with the people you love.

Background

Rock & Scallop’s story began by the sea, inspired by a love of quality seafood and relaxed, social dining. From the beginning, the aim has been simple — to bring people together over great food, cooked with care and full of flavour. After a series of successful pop-ups, with their last being at The Golden Cups in Southerndown, Rock & Scallop is now at Swansea’s Albert Hall, with a Cardiff location planned for next year.

At Rock & Scallop, we serve up seafood feasting at its finest. Our menu celebrates the best of the coast with:
